1040 - Manually Adding a Zip Code to the Database

🖐  Note: CrossLink 1040 will automatically save new zip codes to the database upon verifying a return.

This article demonstrates how to manually add additional ZIP codes to the ZIP Code database, if needed. 

Follow the instructions below to manually add custom ZIP codes to the ZIP code database:

1. Login to CrossLink 1040 with Admin Rights.
2. Click Database > Cities/ZIP Codes.
3. Type the ZIP code to be added in the ZIP Code field.
4. Click Add to open the City / State / ZIP window.
5. Complete the information on this screen and click Save to save the changes.

The new ZIP code will now be in the program's ZIP Code Database.
