This article demonstrates how to add a state tax return to an existing tax return.
Follow the instructions below to successfully add a State Return:
- If you haven't done so already, apply the state software update you want to add to the return (see Installing State Packages).
- Open the tax return.
- Click Add Form or CTRL+S on your keyboard.
- On the States tab, click the state you want to add in the Available States list.
- Double-click the state main form you want to add to the tax return.
