Business - Starting a 1041-QFT Return for a Qualified Funeral Trust

This article provides instructions on how to create a new 1041-QFT tax return within the CrossLink Business software.

Follow the instructions below to successfully create a new Form 1041-QFT return in CrossLink Business:

1. Follow the instructions for Business - Starting a Tax Return. When selecting the entity type, choose 1041.
2. On the Client Data Screen, scroll down to the Estate or Trust Information section. Select the checkbox next to Qualified funeral trust (Filing Form 1041-QFT).
