Business - Starting a 990-PF return for a Private Foundation

This article provides instructions on how to create a new 990-PF return within the CrossLink Business software.

Follow the instructions below to successfully create a new Form 990-PF return in CrossLink Business:

1.  Follow the instructions for Business - Starting a Tax Return. When selecting the entity type, choose 990.
2. On the Client Data Screen, scroll down to the Organization Information section. Select the checkbox next to Private Foundation (Filing Form 990-PF).
